Sister Margaret's congregation admires her strength and righteousness, especially knowing her struggles as a single mother since her husband abandoned her and their young son many years ago.  When Margaret's estrangled husband, a jazz musician, comes home to die, she finds herself losing everything, but coming to terms with her own true sense of faith.

The Vagina Monologues

The Vagina Monologues is a celebration of female sexuality in all its complexity and mystery. It was written by Eve Ensier in 1996, translated into 45 languages and performed in cities all across America and around the world.  Celebrities who have performed in the play included: Oprah Winfrey, Glenn Close, Susan Sarandon and Whoopie Goldberg.  The Vagina Monologues has inspired a dynamic grassroots movement—V-Day—to stop violence against women. Witty and irreverent, compassionate and wise, this Obie Award-winning masterpiece gives voice to real women's deepest fantasies and fears.
